Artist's Description
This is a drawing of magnetism. Take two bar magnets and sprinkle iron filings on them. The iron will stick to the magnetic lines and form this pattern. Mathematics in motion. Numbers made real by pure, naturally occuring geometry.
The original is autographed by Lisa Randal, a famous physicist from University of Washington and author of Warped Passages.
